This is about me

No fairy tale or fiction but the real me

I am scared of the dark

But adventorous enought to want to encounter a shark

I love the water, the sun,the beach

But hate the brakes screech

I am fond of my fathers

But love to spend time with my mother

I cant bear to see her out of my sight

And like friends she and me even fight

I am lucky to have grandparents who dote on me

Given me the strength and encouragement to be ’simply me’

My big brother is such a rascal

And impresses me with laws of Pascal

Together we enjoy a game of basketball

In the grass we even have a roll

My uncles in New York are my best pals

Together we shop in all the malls

Whilst one showers me with love and affection

The other teaches me to aim at perfection

I like to be free

And love nature animals and trees

I have three dogs

Dachshunds shaped like sausages and logs

By nature I am sensitive and a diplomat

I can’t bear to see a friend’s face fall flat

I am an achiever

And like to my accomplish my goals with fervour

I am little thin and weak

But don’t mistake me to be meek

I have a mind of my own

But politeness in my tone

I love my school

And Vasant Valley is really cool

I am God’s chosen one

That is why ‘Pritika’ means the “loved one”
